Hello

I’m Rachel - doula, educator, and mother of five.

For the past 15+ years, I’ve supported families through every kind of birth - from hands-off homebirths to profound loss, and everything in between.

I’m not here to tell you what a “good” birth looks like.
I’m here to help you figure out what you want - and how to protect it.

I've worked with:

  • First-time parents and fifth-time parents

  • Families navigating birth trauma

  • Survivors of abuse

  • High-risk pregnancies

  • International clients birthing far from home

  • ...and those simply seeking a deeper connection to the process

My Story

This work began with my own births -five wildly different stories, each of which reshaped me.

But the real learning came from decades of listening:

• Holding space in silence
• Asking better questions
• Unlearning what birth is supposed to be
• And brain storming something better

I created Birth Reimagined because I was tired of watching strong, capable people hand over their power — simply because no one gave them the tools to hold it.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans.
I believe in strategy, preparation, and reclaiming birth on your terms - with support that adapts to your needs.

Whether you’re preparing to birth for the first time, or finding your way back after trauma or loss, I’m here to walk with you.
No judgment. No pressure. Just real support, grounded in experience.

WHO AM I?

I’m Rachel — doula, coach, and mum of four, living in Hampshire with my partner, kids, and our elderly rescue cat, Mitten.

Since 2009, I’ve supported parents through birth and beyond with honest, trauma-informed care and practical strategy - not scripts.

As a mixed-race mother of neurodivergent kids, I know what it means to feel unheard or underestimated. I bring calm, clarity, and a fierce belief in your ability to lead your own birth story... even when the system says otherwise.

This work isn’t about perfection.
It’s about feeling seen, supported, and strong in your own skin again.

You already have everything you need.
I’m just here to help you uncover it.
